The Graduate Admissions application provides services to help faculty and staff to manage the graduate admissions process. This document provides a high-level overview of the capabilities of the application. More detailed documentation is also available:

Statistics

Statistics of this nature have the potential to be misleading, but they may provide some sense of the overall magnitude of the application.

  • Python code (interface and scheduled processes): 2500 lines
  • SQL code (schema definition and stored procedures): 1850 lines

This application depends on several other applications: Mail Sending, WatIAM.

Graduate Admissions

Graduate Admissions is used to manage the processing of graduate school applications. It allows each faculty member to maintain a list of applications they are considering, and share comments with other faculty members.
